Pain Management

Acute or chronic pain affects over 100 million people in the United States each year.

One of the strongest areas in Chinese medicine is that of pain management. Any pain in the body is considered a blockage. By breaking up this blockage and allowing the free flow of Qi (vital energy) and blood circulation, pain is relieved. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can relieve symptoms while bring the body back into balance for long term results.

Acupuncture is widely used and recommended in the management of pain, regardless of its origin. Acupuncture is a safe, effective and drug-free way to decrease inflammation and eliminate pain. Unlike other methods for treating pain, there are few side effects.

In most cases, we see the pain is reduced or completely eliminated during the first few treatments. However, follow up visits are essential to provide permanent pain relief.
