Tui Na Massage

Tui Na massage is a form of Chinese massage akin to acupressure (from which shiatsu evolved). Choreography often involves thumb presses, rubbing, percussion, and stretches. Tui Na invigorates blood, increases circulation, relieves pain, soothes stress and eases tense, tight muscles.

Tui Na means “pushing and grasping”, and is a powerful form of Chinese medical body work. Based on the same Chinese medicine principles as acupuncture, Tui Na seeks to improve the flow of Qi and blood through the meridian channels. Tui Na is particularly effective for conditions involving muscles, tendons and joints, such as structural misalignment, orthopedic problems and sports injuries. It can also be used to treat internal diseases.
